Weekly Pay Details:

  Job Responsibilities:
  
  
  

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
  
  


• Develop and adjust treatment plans based on assessments and evidence-based practices.
  
  


• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
  
  


• Maintain accurate records of treatment outcomes and regulatory documentation in the electronic system.
  
  


• Record treatment minutes per regulatory and clinical requirements.
  
  


• Attend required meetings, training, and in-service sessions.
  
  


• Supervise CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as needed.
  
  


• Follow ASHA and State-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.
  
  


• Provide a comprehensive discharge summary in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
  
  

Certification Requirements:

• BLS certification required.
  
  

License Requirements:

• Active Texas State License required; Compact license allowed.
