Job Title: Senior Maintenance Technician


Location: Dublin, CA


Reports To: Maintenance Manager


Job Summary: The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of all machinery and equipment within the food manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on various types of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure production runs smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, including mixers, ovens, conveyors, and packaging machines.


• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with equipment.


• Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment-related problems.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.


• Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians.


• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.


• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing environment.


• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.


• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Strong communication skills and ability to train others.


• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.


• Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.


• Working in varying temperatures and conditions within the manufacturing facility.
