Work hours: Monday - Friday. Onsite.

BASIC FUNCTION:

• Responsible for the daily credit and accounts receivable functions.
• The responsibility extends to ensure that this area functions within and according to generally accepted accounting procedures and within Peerless Chain systems and procedures.
• Contacts customers on collection of accounts receivable.
• Initiates collection proceedings in accordance with company policy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Two year Associate degree with a major in accounting or related field and at least three years’ exposure to the credit and accounts receivable functions. Must be detail oriented and possess strong basic math skills, organized and efficient with the drive to work and think independently. Experience with a major ERP system accounting software (like JDE) preferred. Able to communicate professionally; speak, read, write and understand English. Exposure and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office is necessary.
