We are seeking a Service Project Manager I (SPM1) to lead and coordinate post-production modular construction projects from internal turnover through final client approval on-site. This role is critical in ensuring successful project execution, client satisfaction, and adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee modular construction service projects from "Ready to Ship" to final sign-off by the client
Review and confirm the Scope of Responsibility Matrix (SOR) with internal teams or create one as needed
Meet with client site leaders and contractors to align on scope and avoid scope creep
Support Production with sourcing and identifying missing materials during the Assembly phase
Participate in the internal "Ready to Ship" turnover process including documentation and deviation reviews
Coordinate completion of any work related to shipping deviations and ensure site labor is scheduled appropriately
Attend site progress, planning, and commissioning meetings (virtual or in-person)
Manage on-site teams through installation, completion work, and pre-commissioning phases
Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, QA, and project management teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Assist the Commissioning Manager with scheduling subcontractors and reviewing commissioning scope
Work with material suppliers post-shipment to resolve scope, budget, or scheduling concerns
Travel to client sites as needed for issue resolution and manpower coordination
Ensure all site team members are compliant with client-mandated safety and training requirements
Initiate and manage remediation budgets and plans for any site issues
Maintain and update weekly project site summary reports
Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership

Education & Training:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Equivalent field experience or military training related to modular equipment installation also considered
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years of experience as a Site Field Engineer or Site Manager in modular construction
Proven track record of success as a Service Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager
Experience in project management for service or maintenance-based work is a plus.
