Tool & Die Maker - 3rd Shift 10PM-6AM $35.67-$36.42/hour
The Tool and Die Maker is responsible for analyzing, disassembling, and completely rebuilding worn out or outdated equipment to meet manufacturing requirements.
Responsibilities
Plan, layout, and perform all bench and machine operations to construct, alter and repair intricately designed and constructed forming tooling to required tolerances
Set-up and operate tool room machinery/equipment.
Perform close and exact operations necessary to fit, assemble, adjust, align, and finish work to specifications.
Qualifications
A Journeyman's Tool & Die Makers Accredited Apprenticeship or the completion of academic courses in Industrial Math I & II, machine blueprint reading, Metal Technology I and basic Die Making Technology.
High school diploma or equivalent of five years direct applicable experience.
Ability to use shop mathematics: work with fairly complicated drawings, specifications, formulas in manufacturing or troubleshooting.
Ability to lift over 60 pounds.
