Position Overview:
The Store Operations Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support to the corporate operations team, with a focus on expense control, labor/workforce management, and exception-based reporting. This position works closely with key business partners both at the corporate office and in the field.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide support to operations and field management by analyzing key metrics including sales, performance, KPIs, and other operational data.
Provide exception-based reporting to ensure company expense budgets and guidelines are being followed.
Track and report on field expenses such as contract labor, supply usage, janitorial, payroll spending, and equipment repair.
Assist with the yearly labor/workforce planning and budgeting process.
Partner with the accounting team on store labor expense management programs and initiatives to ensure productivity and cost savings.
Assess current business needs to identify areas of opportunity to improve overall store operations, ensure efficiencies, and provide cost savings.
Interpret data, summarize findings, and recommend suggestions relating to operation process enhancements.
Create and update weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports and/or documents.
Develop strong partnerships with team members, field management, and other departments.
Assist with other operational projects as needed.
Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma required. Associate or bachelor's degree is a plus.
Proficiency in collecting and interpreting complex data.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication, including speaking, writing, and active listening.
Time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills is required
Ability to work in a professional environment, exercising sound judgment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain in a normal seated position regularly.
Ability to see, hear, and speak regularly.
