Requirements

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (via American Heart Association), NIHSS
  
  


• Floating:
  
  
  
  
  • Must be willing to float to Stepdown Unit and potentially ED/MedSurg for ICU patients being held.
    
    
  
  
  
  


• Skills:
  
  
  
  
  • Strong neuro experience (post-neurosurgical, EVD, stroke)
    
    
  
  
  • Vents, IV drip titration, telemetry monitoring
    
    
  
  
  • Conscious sedation, dysrhythmia and emergency management.
    
    
  
  
  
  

Additional Notes

• 
  Ratios: 1:2-3

  • 3 years CC experience preferred (will consider strong candidates without 3 years).
    
    
  
  
  • Travel experience preferred.

  Proficiency: Must be EPIC proficient - No Exceptions.

  • RN candidates residing less than 50 miles from the facility will not be accepted.

  Submission Requirements: Qualivis Submission Form and current NURSYS report.
