SOFTWARE DEVELOPER:

 

Duties: Software dev activities including design, coding, testing, and deploying full stack ed tech solutions. Integrate code where necessary with other ed platforms, including LMS systems, using commonly accepted learning interoperability standards. Work with UML diagrams, interface design using tools such as Adobe XD and Figma. Utilize data science tools including Panda, Kaggle, Streamlit, Altair, and D3, and e-learning design principles, assessment design, cognitive task analysis and UX testing.

 

Requirements: M.S. in Educational Technology, Computer Science. Knowledge of or education in LMS systems, Blackboard and Canvas, as well as data-driven course development using OLI (Online Learning Initiative) and UI design and wireframing using Adobe XD, Figma, Invision, and Miro. Demonstrated ability to design online ed tools, including competitive analysis, ideation, prototyping, code implementation, and user testing using e-learning design and HCI principles. Familiarity with or educated in data structures, algorithms, OO programming, operating systems, distributed systems, Spring framework, React.js, Kaggle, EC2, relational databases, API, cloud development and web services, Java, unit testing, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
