Current Need



McKesson is seeking an IT Systems Administrator. This role supports an Automated Prescription Refill Center (ARC) for a major retailer in the areas of computer systems as well as mechanical systems.



This position is NOT eligible for relocation assistance. You must reside within a commutable distance to the Jeffersonville, IN location.




Target Salary: $30/hr.




Position Description



The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for the maintenance activities of an Automated Refill Center IT systems (i.e. computer, network, peripheral devices).

• Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.


• Finds new ways of delivering system pertinent performance analytics


• May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices.


• Creates new reporting structures in SQL environments at customer demand


• Works with associated vendors to operate, maintain and support proprietary and shelf system software systems.


• Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains computer networks, hardware and software.

Minimum Requirements



2+ years IT/ Networking experience on VLSI, multi platform systems


2+ years SQL database management


2+ years troubleshooting computer hardware and networking



Critical Skills

• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, pass symptoms to root cause levels


• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience


• Familiarity with Networking, Routers, switches and integrating equipment


• Computer proficiency in MS Office to include Access, SQL Servers and Windows XP/Win 7/Win 10


• Professional communication skills both verbal and written


• Strong customer orientation

Additional Knowledge & Skills



Computer:

• Analyze hardware and replace if necessary.


• Troubleshoot network (Ethernet) systems.


• Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices.


• Ability to setup and analyze RS232/RS422 communications between computers or computer and peripheral devices.


• Able to work with WIN XP/Win 7/Win 10 and SQL Server


• Configure and troubleshoot IBM compatible computers


• Reading and writing T-SQL queries

Electrical knowledge:

• Ability to download and upload PLC programs, and troubleshoot PLC functions.


• Ability to work with control circuits using such devices as photo eyes, solenoid valves, limit switches, indicating lights and safety switches

SYSTEM ADMIN:

• Identify new ways of delivering system pertinent performance analytics.


• Works with associated vendors to operate, maintain and support proprietary and shelf system software systems.


• Completes preventative maintenance procedures on computer and network systems.


• Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains computer networks, hardware, and software.


• May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices.


• Field technician performing the necessary installation and setup of new solutions developed by BI.

BI

• Implement new ways of delivering system pertinent performance analytics.


• Reviews and analyzes reports, records, and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.


• Creates new reporting structures in SQL environments at customer demand.

Education



4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
SQL Certification Preferred
C++ Experience preferred



Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 20 - 50 lbs


• Must have flexibility to work evening shift and overtime as needed.

$22.95 - $38.25
