Job Summary
Assist with managing and organizing the clinic's research database
Perform data entry and ensure accuracy in maintaining research database
Help in the recruitment of study participants and coordinate patient enrollment
Distribute and track surveys, ensuring timely completion and data collection
Provide administrative support for the research team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and preparing documents for IRB approval
Assist with coordinating research-related activities, such as tracking progress, sending reminders, and communicating with participants
Assist in preparing research materials for publication and presentations
Qualifications
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.
EDUCATION
Required
Bachelor's degree in science or a health-related field
Preferred
Currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Genetic Counseling, Genetics, Public Health, or a related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
1 year of health-related or research experience
Preferred
Experience with research, especially in genetics, counseling, or healthcare settings, is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis software is a plus
SKILLS
Required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with data entry, database management, and survey platforms (e.g., REDCap, Qualtrics, etc.)
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with participants and research staff
