Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a local client in the search for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Program Manager to join their finance team. The AP Program Manager is responsible for managing operational functions including invoice processing, purchase card program, financial disbursement, and exception resolution. This role requires candidates to be on-site at our client's Washington, DC office 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage operational functions including invoice processing, purchase card program, financial disbursement, and exception resolution
Implement payables operational improvements to streamline processes and increase productivity while maintaining proper internal controls
Oversee monthly and annual accounts payable closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion
Develop and enforce policies, procedures and controls related to purchase contracts and vendor payment management
Collaborate with managers across the organization while serving as a strategic thought partner with Finance departments to assist with research, reconciliations, and resolutions
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in accounting of finance with 5+ years of experience, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) OR a Bachelor's Degree in accounting and finance with 10+ years of experience and 5+ years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software - especially Excel
Experience with NetSuite Accounting System is strongly preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
