Responsible for test, validation and approval of Optical Networking Products. Recreate customer networking environment to validate and document approved product operations. Configure and deploy various networking equipment into to test lab to support production environments. Work with a variety of new and existing product solutions to ensure customer adoption and product quality. Engage in product release workflow and provide value to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Setup Test Environment based on customer needs • Validate Product operations consistent with OEM requirements • Document Test typology and testing results as per company guidelines • Configure, Document and Deploy networking equipment into lab production environment • Ensure lab equipment is updated with current or approved operating systems • Support multiple departments and external customers with issues • Design test plans and test cases to validate new products and improve existing products. • Perform product validation and verification of hardware in field or lab environment. • Provide technical support to technicians for various testing activities. • Design and implement design test tools for review and verification process. • Prepare production test processes and develop test plans and prepare test reports. • Administer various debug tools to conduct failure analysis. • Develop tests and debugging tools to analyze the functionality of hardware systems. • Monitor and implement test processes on hardware systems. • Provide training to new employees to implement test procedures. • Develop new test procedures and enhance existing ones to ensure products' reliability and usability. • Analyze all products to identify any manufacturing defect and resolve all hardware issues in coordination with development engineers. • Prepare plans for validation methods, tools and processes for various tests. • Prepare and submit reports on progress and status of all testing procedures. • Ensure compliance to electrical safety procedures and rules are strictly adhered to. • Provide training to factory workers on testing and debugging products. • Analyze and resolve all hardware test issues to provide state of art products.
Skills / Attributes Required: • Experience with various computer operating systems such as Windows and Linux • Experience with various networking operating systems from Cisco, Juniper and Arista • Working knowledge of physical Network Layers and functions • Experience with FTP, TCP, HTTP, ARP applications • Industry Certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA are plus • Solid technical ability and proven ability to learn new networking concepts • Understand Network OSI layers and functions • Understanding of fundamental Network equipment • Understanding of Serial Communication standards and connectivity • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal English communication skills • Ability to work under pressure • Motivated and Enthusiastic • Continued self-investment with training, reading and certifications

Pay Transparency: The starting annual salary for this opportunity ranges from $67,000-$100,000. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance.
