We are seeking a full-time Data Collection Coordinator in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing data collection and administrative support for the Garmin field testing program.
Essential Functions
Work with Data Collection Analysts to set well-defined data collection tasks for products in development
Coordinate basic product testing including recruiting testers, booking facilities and maintaining equipment
Conduct data collection sessions with test subjects according to established test protocols
Accurately record, download and enter data from test sessions
Validate data using internally developed processing tools
Document test progress
Identify and resolve basic issues during data collection and logging
Manage the remuneration program for the external tester group
Manage users and adding prototype devices to the asset tracking system
Coordinate regular maintenance/service of test equipment
Coordinate weekly newsletters for the external tester group
Work collaboratively and professionally in a team environment with other Garmin associates to achieve goals, sharing information freely and positively
Apply standards and procedures to accomplish tasks
Learn how to use and apply appropriate tools as needed for this role
Thoroughly document work in an organized manner
Understand and comply with Garmin's Mission, Vision, Values and Quality Policy
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma
Must be 18 years or older with a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Must be detail-oriented with the ability to maintain and deliver a high level of quality and accuracy
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, work well with others, demonstrate excellent organizational/time management skills, and the ability to manage priorities in a flexible and fast paced environment
Demonstrates proficiency using Microsoft Word & Excel
Ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly
Demonstrates an intrinsic drive to perform to one's full potential at every opportunity
Possesses a sense of urgency and commitment in delivering solutions in a timely fashion
Ability to learn how to use and apply data management tools
Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate some evening and weekend test sessions
Must work independently at off-site locations
Demonstrated ability to routinely carry up to 30 pounds of equipment
Desired Qualifications
Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel
Experience with Garmin personal monitoring products
