Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to lead our audit team and ensure that financial operations and reporting are carried out in accordance with established standards and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and will play a key role in managing audit processes, guiding junior staff, and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
Review and finalize audit reports and financial statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff
Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide assurance
Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions
Conduct risk assessments and prepare audit plans
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA certification is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit or public accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP and assurance practices
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
