Job Description:

LOOKING FOR AN EXPIERENCED TOWER LEAD (TOP HAND)

Apex Site Solutions is a wireless telecommunications contractor based in Elk Grove, CA, and Corona, CA. We service all of California, Nevada, and Oregon. Responsibilities Include:

Climbing and working on communication towers to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain wireless systems
Assembling/erecting various tower types, including self-support, monopoles, guyed towers, etc.
Read construction documents, clearly explain and delegate tasks to crews in order to perform installations per all customer requirements
Installing antennas, coax, fiber optic cables, DC power, AC power, etc., at elevated heights of over 100 feet
Working closely with, helping manage, and mentor technicians, and staying aligned with our OJT training program
Review assigned crews and adhere to project schedules
Adhering to all company and industry (i.e., OSHA, NATE) standards/regulations

Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent
2-3 years of tower industry experience, with at least 6-12 months as a Tower Tech 3/Lead Technician
Be able to demonstrate skills, knowledge, and your level of expertise in the tower industry
Possession of a valid driver's license
Ability to travel and work outside of normal business hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays
Working knowledge of hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment
Ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50 lb load

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Local, out-of-the-area, and extended travel is required (up to 95%).

COMPENSATION:

$28-$32
