About the Role and about You:
Under the supervision of the DOM the Maintenance controller will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of aircraft maintenance and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. This role requires close interaction with flight crews, maintenance teams, and the operations department to ensure aircraft are available, safe, and compliant with required maintenance schedules.?
What you will do:
Ensure aircraft are in airworthy condition and ready for flight, managing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events.
Oversee and prioritize maintenance schedules to minimize downtime while meeting operational demands, coordinating with flight operations to avoid conflicts with flight schedules.
Plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance inspections in advance, ensuring timely part ordering and availability for required services.
Act as a central point of contact for maintenance-related issues, collaborating with maintenance teams, flight crews, and contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Review aircraft logbooks, maintenance records, and monitor compliance with mandatory inspections, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other regulatory requirements.
Communicate maintenance status to flight crews and operations, ensuring effective coordination to maintain aircraft availability.
Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations (Part 135), manufacturer recommendations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, including logbooks, work orders, and completed maintenance inspections.
Monitor the status of mandatory inspections, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other compliance requirements.
Assist in troubleshooting aircraft mechanical issues and determine the appropriate corrective actions.
Provide guidance to maintenance technicians and flight crews on resolving mechanical issues and deciding whether aircraft can continue service or require further repairs.
Make decisions on aircraft dispatch ability based on safety, airworthiness, and operational requirements.
Serve as a liaison between the maintenance department, flight crew and operations, and the management team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements
What we are looking for:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
5+ years of previous experience in aircraft maintenance, particularly in a Part 135 or commercial aviation environment
Special Requirements:
Strong understanding of FAA regulations, including FAR Part 135 and Part 91
Familiarity with King Air 350, Pilatus, Gulfstream, Citation, Dornier Jets, etc.
Proficiency in maintenance tracking software
