We are currently seeking an Advanced Technician Production Operations who will be responsible for formulating, filling and packaging reagent products of varied complexity according to operational plans and customer demand with minimal supervision.

The Advanced Technician is responsible for performing pertinent tests to determine chemical and/or physical properties, composition, structure, relationships, and reactions, utilizing spectrophotometry, electrophoresis Flow Cytometers, Particle Counters/Sizers and other laboratory techniques.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  Performs simple calculations according to procedures, and maintains accurate records of work performed according to GLP, GMP, and QSRs

  
  


• 
  

  
  Manufactures buffers and diluents according to standard operating procedures and work instructions

  
  


• 
  

  
  Participates on a Continuous Process Improvement Team, and is a contributor to team efforts within the department

  
  


• 
  

  
  Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained

  
  


• 
  

  
  Train and advise production personnel in manufacturing procedures for product formulations and testing

  
  


• 
  

  
  Participate in troubleshooting of various methods of production processes and recommend solutions or process improvements

  
  


• 
  

  
  Interact with departments and colleagues within and outside of Production, including, but not limited to, QC, QA, Development, Marketing, Engineering, etc.

  
  

The required qualifications for the job include:

• 
  

  High school degree (or equivalent degree) with 7+ years of experience

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to follow approved work instructions with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with MS Office products, Microsoft Excel, email

  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• 
  

  Previous laboratory work experience preferred, especially in an FDA/ISO regulated manufacturing environment
