Key Responsibilities:Lead and support a team of Math teachers in delivering instruction for grades 18 using the provided curriculum.Serve as the primary point of contact for Math teachers, providing guidance, support, and resources as needed.Monitor and evaluate the progress of both teachers and students, offering feedback and strategies to address challenges.Facilitate regular team meetings to align teaching strategies, share best practices, and address concerns.Ensure that all Math teachers maintain classroom management and create a positive, inclusive environment for students.Assist in the development of assessments and ensure alignment with the curriculum.Coordinate with program staff and program leadership to ensure that program goals are met.Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, when necessary.Participate in planning, training sessions, and staff development activities as required.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in education, Mathematics, or a related field required; Masters preferred.Valid teaching certification in Math or elementary/middle grades education.Proven experience teaching math to students in grades 18.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to implement and adapt the provided curriculum while addressing the diverse needs of students.Experience in mentoring or coaching teachers is a plus.Schedule & Compensation:Program runs from June 16, 2025, to August 1, 2025; hours are 9 am to 2 pm every Monday through Friday (except holidays).Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your leadership experience, teaching background, and enthusiasm for supporting an Math team in a summer setting.
