Our Summer Plant Engineering Intern will assist with the following projects:

50% Energy Efficiency Projects

Collect Energy Savings Data and information to support:

• Project Identification
• Project Energy savings Estimates
• Completed Project Savings
• Support Development of energy Management Plan & KPI Tracking
• Provide on-going support to moving energy savings projects forward
• Provide on-going support to energy teams & energy plans

50% Plant Engineering Support

• Support go-live of Vault 5 Linear accelerator production activities
• Project management support of ongoing projects including: Foundry Automated Casting Machine and Melting Unit and Building 19 overhead door remodeling.
• Lock Out Tag Out. Work with EHS to create LOTO procedures as needed.

Requirements:

Individuals working on Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degrees with a minimum junior status preferred.
