Function of Position:
The Coordinator II / FWD Center Guided Experience will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, communicating and supporting guided tours and learning experiences to meet the needs of various types of visitors and students. They will report directly to the FWD Center Director.
This is a very unique opportunity for an equity-minded professional looking to build cross-functional skills in experience management, customer service and data analytics in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate excitement for organizing highly customized tours, tracking data and creating consistent standard operating procedures to be utilized at the FWD Center.

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities:
Planning & Coordination:
Organize, plan, coordinate, and support customized tour and guided experiences for the FWD Center.
Work with visitors across multiple segments - corporates, area colleges, community-based organizations, K-12 schools to create customized tours/programming/guided experiences.
Work with FWD Center staff to design experiences, optimizing time and lab resources
Serve as point of contact and support FWD Center staff during the tours to maximize visitor engagement
Respond to visitor inquiries requiring assistance. Resolve routine concerns or escalate any serious matters to the reporting manager.
Data Tracking and Reporting:
Work to enhance the overall visitor experience through feedback and improvements to processes, services, and staffing.
Collect and analyze visitor profile, engagement and feedback surveys to create reports
Marketing Support:
Coordinate with marketing, provide inputs to marketing collaterals, and distribute marketing materials across multiple channels and partners.
Provide data requirements to marketing, collect and share data analytics
Systems and Software Proficiency:
Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams) for documentation, data analysis, reporting, and communication.
Use of CRM tool such as Salesforce for tracking inquiries/leads and customer organizations and students
Use of AR/VR technologies such as headsets, smart glasses, etc.

Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience as a project or event coordinator or customer service supervisor, preferably in an educational, tourism or museum setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Earned bachelor's degree or higher in arts, communication or education from a regionally-accredited higher education institution. An Associate degree and equivalent work experience in relevant field is acceptable.
Strong organizational, logistical and multitasking abilities.
Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities. Preferably both English and Spanish.
Working knowledge of budgets. Basic data (spreadsheet) analysis and reporting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and CRM tools such as Salesforce or equivalent.
A high level of adaptability to support the changing needs of visitors, groups, and the center
Familiarity with instructional lab or museum environments, emerging technologies such as Robotics/Augmented/Virtual Reality/AI
Be able to lift, move or carry equipment or supplies up to 10 lbs.
Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish, or other languages, proficiently
Additional Information:
Salary: Salary is determined based on experience, internal equity and college budget. This position has a range of $28 to $32 per hour and is based on these mentioned factors.
Work Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 8.45am-2:45pm
Availability/flexibility to occasionally work a Friday evening or Saturday morning to support a special event
