Lands' End Outfitters is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to lead and grow our School Uniform sales team. This role is focused on managing and expanding relationships within School Uniform. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to managing a team, overseeing complex sales cycles, and driving revenue growth within this key market segment.


As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of Account Executives, and working closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of School Uniform clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for strategically managing and growing a book of business, aligning with annual revenue targets and leveraging market insights to drive revenue growth through customer relationships, retention, and long-term account expansion. Key Responsibilities:



  • Team Leadership & Development:


    • Lead and motivate a team of Account Executives, setting clear performance expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.

    • Mentor team members on effective sales techniques, ensuring continuous improvement in individual and team results.

    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to ensure sales targets are being met.


  • Sales Strategy & Execution:


    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at securing new business and growing existing accounts.

    • Create and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent progress towards revenue goals.

    • Manage end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing, ensuring a customer-centric approach.


  • Relationship Management:


    • Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key decision-makers within target school accounts.

    • Understand client business challenges and objectives to provide tailored solutions that align with their needs and goals.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.


  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting:


    • Accurately forecast sales revenue, track sales metrics, and analyze results to optimize strategies.

    • Regularly report on team progress, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

    • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to monitor pipeline health and revenue projections.


  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:


    • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment in messaging, offerings, and client satisfaction.

    • Provide feedback on market trends, competitive activity, and client needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.


  • Negotiation & Deal Closing:


    • Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and close deals in collaboration with your team.

    • Ensure terms of contracts are aligned with company goals while meeting client expectations.


  • Continuous Improvement:


    • Analyze sales processes and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize sales techniques.

    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new sales tools, and technologies to enhance team performance.



Qualifications:



  • Experience:


    • 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a focus on school accounts, ideally in the Uniform/Custom Apparel sector.

    • At least 2 years of experience in a sales management or leadership role with a proven ability to drive sales results.

    • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing.


  • Skills:


    • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to coach and motivate others to achieve targets.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    • Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales analytics tools.

    • Data-driven and results-oriented, with a focus on maximizing sales performance and efficiency.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


  • Education:


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).
