What You’ll Get to Do

The Driver Class A is focused on moving glass and/or metal products from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates and reports to the Regional Transportation Manager.

This role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver.  A vital member of the Fleet Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Load/Unload products that could include handling loose, crated, and racked glass, metal and associated products.


• Use and understand computerized tracking systems, and production labels. 


• Ensure trucks are operating efficiently by performing thorough daily pre and post trip inspections.


• Maintain truck and driving records by reporting information, completing driver logs, and truck performance forms.


• Comply with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations. 

What We Are Looking For

• Must possess a valid CDL license issued by the state of residence.


• Must be able to read and interpret mathematical measurements of glass sizes and delivery schedules as well as effectively use a tape measure.


• A clear driving record with no tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.


• Able to work a flexible starting time.


• A minimum of 2 years recent CMV driving experience or completed a DOT driver training class from an accredited truck driving school and 1 year of verifiable driving experience - preferred.
