Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Jabil – Badger Technologies

Badger Technologies, a product division of Jabil, delivers autonomous robotic solutions that improve operational efficiencies and retail experiences in public environments. Our technology stack includes computer vision AI, RFID, edge processing, and cloud-based data analytics. As we continue to scale and innovate, we’re seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technical strategy and ensure seamless delivery of solutions that transform customer environments.

As CTO, you will own the technology vision and solution design across Badger Technologies. This role is critical in driving alignment across technical disciplines—from product management to cloud architecture, data strategy, and computer vision AI.

You will lead & develop a talented team of direct and indirect reports across product, cloud, and AI disciplines. Your leadership will shape how our technology evolves and scales in customer-facing, real-world environments.

What can you expect to do?


  • Own and drive the overall technical solution strategy, ensuring all architecture decisions—cloud, data, AI, and edge technologies—support scalable, reliable, and impactful deployments.


  • Oversee product management, aligning customer needs and market trends with long-term technology direction.


  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of direct and indirect reports across product, cloud, and AI disciplines.


  • Ensure all technical solutions are well-defined, validated, and aligned with the company’s vision before execution.


  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions.


  • Guide the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies such as computer vision, RFID, and AI, particularly in complex, public environments.


  • Support persona-based analytics initiatives, ensuring relevant, actionable insights are delivered to key user groups (e.g., operators, retailers, and execs).


  • Drive cloud infrastructure and data architecture strategy, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance.


  • Be a key voice in shaping the future of retail robotics and public-facing AI solutions.

​What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?


  • Bachelor's required, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; MBA or advanced degree a plus.

  • 15+ years experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally within robotics, AI, or IoT-related industries.

  • Deep understanding of next generation technologies, autonomous solutions, robotics, cloud infrastructure, data architecture, AI/computer vision, and agile development.

  • 4+ years of people leadership required.

  • Experience delivering solutions deployed in public or customer-facing environments.
