The Financial Analyst compiles and analyzes financial information for the assigned division(s) in an efficient and accurate manner. Moreover, the financial analyst assists management in the decision-making process by presenting relevant financial reports in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
Develops integrated revenue and expense analyses, projections, and presentations. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts. Designs and builds revenue and cost models that summarize several different scenarios around growth and expansion initiatives. Performs variance and historical analysis on a regular basis. Initiates actions to resolve any financial reporting errors. Makes recommendations to align policies and procedures with best practices and capitalize on financial opportunities. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Bachelor's degree is required. One year of relevant work experience.

Patient safety is a top priority.
