Customer Service Representative at Stellar Industrial Supply in Sparks, Nevada

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Sparks, NV. Stellar Industrial Supply is an industry leading Industrial Distributor. Our primary products include MRO, cutting tools, 3M product, safety equipment, and many other tools and accessories. Our main customers are manufacturers, fabricators, machine shops and facilities.

We are looking for someone who is eager and willing to learn more about our industry, highly motived, personable, and capable of growing long-term relationships with our current and potential customers.

You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information, entering quotes and orders, expediting service requests, and addressing customer concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Address customers in a professional, courteous manner with a positive attitude and active listening


• Accurately and efficiently enter quotes, orders, and returns into the P21 system while meeting or exceeding service level agreements and customer requirements


• Work with all information sources to accurately and quickly source what our customers need, communicating internally and externally as needed


• Understand Stellar supplier partnerships and how to best engage to locate information and service customers


• Expedite all service requests with urgency and accuracy to meet or exceed customer expectations


• Work and collaborate effectively as part of your Customer Experience team, including Commercial and Specialist support individuals


• Communicate effectively and establish professional relationships with all Stellar stakeholders and associates


• Engage in continual learning of all Stellar service and product offerings

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
  
  
  
  • Preference may be given to those with experience with Carbide Insert Tooling, Abrasives, Machine Shop processes, machinery, or machine tool components


• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to prioritize and multitask


• Ability to connect positively with customers and others


• Experience with ERP type computer program is desired, but not required


• Comfortable working in a sales driven and service focused environment


• Desire to continually improve


• Strong attention to detail and follow up
