Description:

The Home Delivered Meal Driver will work cooperatively with food service department to pick up and deliver home delivered meals to our Neighborhood PACE participants in an accurate, professional and safe manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driver is responsible to keep their vehicle clean and in good working order with enough fuel to carry out their assigned deliveries.


• Driver is expected to check their route sheet and hot and cold carriers for accuracy along with cook, signing off on HDM Sheet before leaving kitchen.


• Driver is expected to always interact with participants in a professional manner with an emphasis on being courteous, patient and friendly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED required.


• Valid MA driver's license and good driving record.


• Ability to safely lift/transport meal containers of up to 25 lbs.


• Knowledge of the areas we serve (East Boston, Winthrop, Revere, Chelsea) helpful.

Per diem (as needed)

Typical shift schedule Monday-Friday 10am-1pm
