Overview
Intelligent Waves is currently seeking a qualified Product Manager to join our organization. As a key member of our Innovations team, the Product Manager will be responsible for managing our emerging human performance product line. The Product Manager will guide the development of the human performance product line which includes driving product strategy, working across multiple functions within the organization, and ensuring our products meet our customers' needs and expectations. This role requires a strong background in product development and go to market strategies and techniques, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of successful product releases.

Location: This position is 100% remote with travel. This Product Management position can be based anywhere in the continental US and will require remote/telework and travel to customer sites.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 35% of the time and will be reimbursed based on IW policy, GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) as required.
Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols.
Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Product Positioning: Develop and communicate compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences in both the government and commercial sectors.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches, ensuring coordinated efforts across marketing, sales, and product teams. This will include the planning and execution of product strategies and roadmaps.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales tools, training programs, and resources that empower them to communicate product value propositions to clients effectively.
- Customer Advocacy: Cultivate customer advocates, gather testimonials, and drive customer success stories to showcase the real-world impact of Intelligent Waves solutions.
- Product Ambassador: With the product team, educate internal and external stakeholders on our product features and their benefits. Speak and present both internally and externally to promote our product's use cases and applications.
- Market Research: Conduct market research (e.g., monitoring and analyzing product performance, customer feedback, market changes) to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes, which will inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Collateral Development: Oversee and collaborate on creating impactful marketing collateral, including product guides, case studies, whitepapers, and presentations, to support sales and marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of eight (8) years in product marketing roles, focusing on mobile and B2B technology and a proven track record of success in the government and/or commercial sectors. A bachelors degree in marketing or business is preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities within the federal and commercial sectors and how they conduct business. Understanding of mobile app development or wearable technology landscape is not required but is preferred.
- Customer-Facing Expertise: Proven experience in customer-facing roles, adept at engaging with customers in various settings to bring our product to life and ensure their success.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute strategic product marketing plans aligning with business objectives and resonate with target audiences.
- Player/Coach Mentality: As the center of the wheel, often needing to bring together a spectrum of contributors from across the company, you must have the ability to manage the process AND be a player to deliver and succeed as a team.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: Ability to think creatively, take calculated risks, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong results-orientation.
- Collaboration: Intuitive problem-solver with strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including internal research and development, product management, sales, and marketing to deliver products on time and within budget.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical features into compelling customer benefits as well as desired customer requirements into the development pipeline.
