Who you are:

A highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for education, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of our radiology professional development courses. You will leverage your expertise in adult education, instructional technology, and project management to ensure the success of our educational programs.

Responsibilities:



  • Course Development and Management:


    • Lead the planning and design of online courses within the Learning Management System (Canvas), ensuring alignment with educational objectives and accreditation guidelines.

    • To keep the curriculum current and engaging, maintain and update course content, including lecture materials, assignments, and resources.

    • Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to develop high-quality instructional materials.

    • Monitor student progress, address inquiries, and provide timely feedback to enhance the learning experience.




  • Learner Support:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, addressing inquiries, resolving technical issues, and providing guidance throughout their learning journey.

    • Proactively identify and resolve student concerns, working collaboratively with instructors and administrators.

    • Conduct virtual meetings and training sessions to support student success.




  • Administrative Support:

    • Manage course registrations, enrollment, and communication with learners.

    • Assist with developing and implementing assessment strategies, including quizzes, exams, and case submissions.

    • Generate reports on course performance, learner engagement, and program effectiveness.




  • Project Management:

    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the smooth execution of educational projects.

    • Manage project timelines and resources effectively.

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of new educational initiatives and programs.



Qualifications:



  • Education and Experience:


    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in adult education, preferably in online or blended learning environments.




  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (Canvas preferred) and instructional technologies.

    • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and other relevant software.




  • Essential Skills:

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.




  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in education or a related field.

    • Experience in radiology or medical education.

    • Familiarity with Accreditation for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) guidelines.

This position will work a Hybrid schedule (Initially you will be required to be on-site 2 days/week).  Additional time on-site during in-person courses (March - April & September - October) with the office base being in Silver Spring, MD. When working remotely, workers must be self-motivated, possess excellent time management, and be highly organized.  Reliable internet connection is a must!

ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy that includes base salary in addition to our full suite of comprehensive benefits (https://www.acr.org/-/media/ACR/NOINDEX/HR/ACR-Benefits-Overview.pdf).  ACR’s goal is to pay competitively and equitably.  It is typical for individuals to be hired in the entry to middle of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on each case’s circumstances.  A reasonable estimate of the annual compensation range for this position is $67,550 – $90,050.
