Summary of Position:                       

As our Video Production & YouTube Manager, you'll be the force behind our video content, working with a team of Princeton Review content contributors across departments to ensure that our video content resonates with our audience and stays true to our brand voice.

Major Responsibilities:


  • Content creation: Produce high-quality video content that educates, entertains, and engages our audience. This includes everything from planning and scripting to filming and editing. You’ll work with a varied team of content experts / contributors across The Princeton Review to ensure our segments are timely and accurate.

  • Digital Marketing: Leverage your digital marketing skills to amplify our video content across various platforms, ensuring maximum reach and impact. You’ll promote content with both our internal Princeton Review Digital Marketing Team and teams at Penguin Random House, our publishing partners.

  • SEO: Optimize our YouTube videos for search engines to increase visibility and drive organic traffic. You'll know all the tips and tricks to make our content stand out. You should be familiar with the cadence of both video creation and tracking.

  • Social media: Work in partnership with existing Princeton Review and Penguin Random House social media teams to promote video content across platforms.

  • Brand voice: Understand and embody The Princeton Review's brand voice, making sure every piece of content feels like it’s coming from a trusted older sibling.

  • Scheduling: Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure a steady flow of video content that aligns with our marketing strategies and key dates.

Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications:


  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in video production, teaching, scripting, or a similar role.

  • A background in English, communications, marketing, or a related field. Classroom teaching experience is a plus.

  • Excellent writing skills are a must. You should be able to craft compelling narratives and know how to direct others to do the same.

  • Familiarity in working with animators and producers, SEO best practices, and social media management tools.

  • A creative mindset and deep familiarity with the higher education space, with the ability to come up with fresh, engaging content ideas.

  • You get The Princeton Review’s mission and brand voice and can convey it effectively in your work.

 

Salary: $71,000 - $75,000 per year, based on a 40 hour work week.
