The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Providing support and leadership for the manufacture of market leading healthcare products in the medical device field


• Identifying, Initiating, recommending, and leading projects to improve product cost, service, quality, process safety, and health/environmental impact


• Performing and guiding technical and validation activities related to new product development and product line extensions


• Leading problem-solving events to determine root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence


• Monitoring and improving manufacturing operations using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology (design of experiments, statistical process control, lean management system, kaizens, DMAIC)


• Working closely with production and maintenance teams to perform troubleshooting and resolve equipment/downtime issues

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) OR High School Diploma/GED AND Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment (course work and internships considered)

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree or higher in a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Experience working in the medical device field


• Experience working in a GMP environment


• Demonstrated project leadership abilities on highly technical and complex projects

Work location: Onsite (Eden Prairie, MN)

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $95,825 - $117,120, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
