Job Overview: As a Software Engineer 3, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. You'll contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables and collaborate with client personnel. Your role involves reviewing and analyzing complex technology solutions, leading initiatives, and resolving technical challenges.


Responsibilities:

• Lead complex technology initiatives.


• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs.


• Review and analyze large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives.


• Collaborate with key technical experts, senior technology team members, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience (or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education).


• 5+ years of Database Engineering and Development experience.


• 5+ years of ETL (Extract Transform Load) development with Ab Initio pipelines and SQL-based pipelines.


• 3+ years of Teradata development (physical and semantic databases).


• 3+ years of Oracle development (Complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, functions, triggers, etc.).


• 3+ years of Hadoop and HIVE development with knowledge of writing HiveQL queries.


• 3+ years of Apache Spark and Spark SQL development with knowledge of PySpark and Scala/Java Spark API.


• 3+ years of data modeling, mapping, and analysis experience.


• 3+ years of AutoSys experience for orchestrating jobs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of test-driven and behavior-driven application development.


• Ability to design, develop, and implement large-scale/complex software applications.


• Familiarity with modern ETL technologies.


• 4+ years of Agile experience.


• Experience with Kafka.


• Knowledge of Microservices.


• 3+ years' experience with SDLC tools and processes (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven, or Gradle).


• 4+ years of experience in developing complex database SQL queries, Stored Procedures, functions, triggers, etc.


• Working knowledge of Unix and Linux.

Job Expectations:

• Ability to work on-site at approved location.
