JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for an experienced operations manager who enjoys working in a dynamic environment to create frictionless commerce. This position will be embedded at our customer's location responsible for optimizing our supply chain, improving lead times, streamlining logistics, and managing a team of embedded service representatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, problem-solving capabilities, data analysis knowledge, and effective leadership acumen. This position is not eligible for US visa sponsorship.

JOB DUTIES:


  • Optimize supply chain to improve lead times, reduce inventory held at the customer's location, and ensure parts are stocked where the customer needs them when they need them
  • Process engineering for continuous improvement and streamlined logistics
  • Supporting the customer by solving problems through root cause corrective action
  • Propose new ideas, concepts, and features, providing supporting data and projected results
  • Establish ongoing reporting and key performance indicators for measuring success. Provide consistent and timely updates and reporting with the right data to enable decision-making. Accurately report on variances and establish earlier warnings for variance.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • University degree in business, logistics, or the equivalent (4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree)
  • Ability to Travel up to 25%

  • Experience communicating and influencing C-suite stakeholders. Must be able to express ideas in a concise and clear manner and must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An aptitude for creating efficiencies without sacrificing quality
  • Successful managerial experience in Operations or Logistics
  • Experience within a distribution or B2B products-based business
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a high-demand, fast-paced and team-oriented environment, must be able to identify significant success factors and think tactically.
  • Strong leadership, performance management, change management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Bias for action, excellent attention to detail, and relentless commitment to follow-through
  • Ability to multi-task and handle various projects simultaneously to drive timely results
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and facilitate action across remote groups
  • Customer service orientation
  • Proficient PC skills (Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
