Job Description:

Systems Administrator and/or Junior Systems Administrator

We are growing!  As the 18th largest Broadline Foodservice Distributor servicing thousands of customers, and operating multiple warehouses, we have created a new position to give more depth to the IT Department and better support the company and our customers.  While our preference is to hire an experienced Systems Administrator, we would potentially hire a promising candidate at a junior level and help develop to perform the responsibilities listed. 

This position will need work out of our Kearney, Nebraska, location to be effective.  If you are looking for a remote position, this is not it.

Responsibilities:

• Identity management on platforms using Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Domain Service;


• Develop and deploy Group Policy objects that optimize the org’s global security posture as well as enhance end user workflows;


• Design, deploy, and maintain a hybrid Active Directory infrastructure using industry best practices;


• Resolve support tickets as they’re escalated from other teams;


• Ensure compliance with IT security requirements and policies;


• Ensure reliable monitoring and alerting for systems infrastructure;


• Implement and support the integration of applications into a centralized SSO infrastructure using OIDC and SAML protocols.


• Administration of Nutanix hardware & Software.

• Maintain and administer operating systems, server security and Microsoft services;


• Investigate and resolve application problems and enterprise monitoring alarms;


• Install, upgrade, configure and maintain server systems hardware and software;


• Multi-site AD architecture and troubleshooting;


• Provide subject matter expertise in troubleshooting all issues related to the Windows server infrastructure;


• Available to work off-hours to perform maintenance or in case of emergencies;


• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

(For the Junior position these would be helpful, not required)

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience;


• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in System Administration;


• Experience with System Center


• Experience with Zoho ADManage


• Management experience with Microsoft Office 365 Enterprise


• Familiarity with Nutanix AOS & AHV.
