Pay Rate: $26-$32 per hour

Responsibilities:


- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.
- Assist with audits and other financial reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 years minimum of experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Advanced knowledge in the application of sales and use tax rules.
- Advanced math skills including statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with JD Edwards financial software, FAS and/or AS400 is a plus.
