Akkodis is looking for a Test Engineer for a contract position located in Sunnyvale, CA.
Contract Duration: 6 - month contract with possible extension
Pay Rate: $58.00/hourly on W2
Job Summary
Support thermal testing and data analysis of mobile electronic products and components
Iterate testing of user workloads while collecting temperature and power data
Design and build module testing fixtures and mockups for thermal analysis
Assist in automating power supplies and data acquisition equipment with python, MatLab or similar tools
Experience/Skills:
5+ years of experience with thermal cooling technologies and product testing lifecycles
5+ years of experience with thermal test equipment (i.e data acquisition, infrared cameras, digital multimeters, adjustable power supplies)
Familiarity with various types of cooling technologies and thermal mitigation strategies.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing Apple HW and SW.
Experience with testing and validating Android and Windows platforms
Coding experience, Python and/or Matlab, for hardware and test automation and data post-processing.
Attention to detail.
Ability to create clear documentation for test procedures.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in ME, EE, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.
