We're seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's server infrastructure. As a Systems Administrator, you'll ensure our servers are secure, reliable, and optimized to meet our computing needs. Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain servers, including web, email, file, and database servers
Plan and implement server backups and disaster recovery procedures
Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize capacity utilization
Configure and manage server security settings, including firewall rules and access control lists
Perform regular system updates, patch management, and maintenance procedures
Create and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions
Monitor network traffic, performance, and storage devices
Generate reports on server activity and performance
Automate and script tasks, and administer Windows domains and Active Directory
Evaluate software and Windows configuration requirements and provide technical recommendations
Develop and implement security baselines, maintenance procedures, and standard operating procedures
Provide risk analysis and recommendations for vulnerabilities, incidents, and change requests
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience and certifications considered)
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
VMware Certified Advanced Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV 2020 or newer) (required upon hire)
VMware Certified Design Expert - Data Center Virtualization (VCDX-DCV 2020 or newer) (strongly preferred)
Training or professional experience and/or certifications in other Microsoft Server products, Dell, EMC (strongly preferred)
