The Production Quality Technician is a full time position, Monday through Friday, at our Titusville, Florida facility. PQT has limited manufacturing responsibilities being primarily responsible for quality assurance of batch manufactured product, incoming materials, packaging, labeling, outgoing shipments, product testing, and internal processes according to ISO 9001 and internal Quality Management System practices. Good teamwork, communication, algebra, and computer skills are required. Previous mixing and experience in area of adhesives, sealants, coatings, paints preferred. A quality mindset, maturity, and excellent attendance are essential. Specific responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Production Quality Technician will become fully knowledgeable of all steps and processes required for the manufacture, identification, packaging, preparation for shipping, and quality assurance of all products and incoming materials.
• Production Quality Technician will become fully knowledgeable of product lines, product documentation, and the EBS Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
• Perform quality testing and reporting on products and incoming materials.
• Prepare, verify, and correct Certificates of Analysis and other Quality documentation.
• Enter test results and Production data; use statistical software, techniques, and SPC charting for performance/data analysis.
• Assist in other areas as needed which may include cartridge filling without supervision, batch manufacturing under supervision, sampling of products and materials, and management of inventory. This may involve handling drums, barrels, sacks, and other containers using barrel carts, pallet jacks, hand carts, or by hand.
• Weigh and transfer chemicals, most of which are hazardous, from bulk for use in manufacturing.
• Perform calibrations and verifications on all equipment, monitor and measure process and environmental parameters, and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
• Keep an organized lab notebook compliant to legal requirements for protection of intellectual property.
• Investigate non-compliances and non-conformities and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Write, review, and update QMS documentation.
• Daily housekeeping and attentiveness to the safety of self and others are absolute requirements.

Job Requirements include but are not limited to:
• Bachelor's degree chemistry preferred, may make exception for relevant experience or certifications.
• Able to understand statistics and mathematics above algebra.
• Good Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use basic hand tools.
• Must have an attentiveness to detail and a mindset toward quality.
• Must be able to read, understand, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Able to work overtime or weekends.
• Flexibility to adjust shift times to cover coworker vacation as needed.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
• Able to perform manual labor in hot/humid conditions, both indoor and outdoor in all conditions
• Able to work while exposed to fumes, airborne particles, vibration, moving parts, noise, and other conditions while wearing proper personal protective equipment for the hazards.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Able to work while standing or walking for up to 3 hours, able to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, and twist.
• Must be able to read small print, color vision, have good peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
