Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Vice President of Construction at Louth Callan Renewables. As the Vice President of Construction, your day-to-day tasks will include overseeing and managing construction projects, negotiating contracts, budgeting, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for leading and collaborating with a diverse team of skilled professionals to execute commercial and community solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Negotiation and Construction Management
  • Lead and manage the project execution and management teams.
  • Oversee all phases of project execution from initial planning and design through construction and commissioning.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and meet all quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement project management processes and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement in field management and installation practices to increase productivity of LCR self perform installation team.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement to ensure timely and cost effective acquisition and delivery of all materials and services.
  • Ability to manage and increase production of multiple field crews both mechanical and electrical
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
  • Ability to travel to jobsites regularly and perform in field installation services as a "lead from the front" type of leader.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in project management within the solar or renewable energy sector with at least 5 years of senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred.)
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large scale (50mws or larger) renewable energy EPC projects
  • Strong knowledge of in field installation practices, project management methodologies and tools.
