Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is hiring a Director of Demand Planning, Allocation & Outlet to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).
Job Duties Include:
Oversee product assortment matrix by style by store
Assist in guiding planner in building model stock to support appropriate stock levels
Collaborate review sales demand forecast during transition into predictive sales forecasting methodology
Support sales forecasting in permanent product for sales planning
Oversee allocation of product and rebalances to support sales and inventory efficiencies
Analyze, review, and build efficiencies with reporting to understanding trends, opportunities, and liabilities
Oversee assortment, allocation, pricing, and stock levels by outlet store
Monitor outlet model stock creations and uploads
Manage execution of sale implementation and pricing for outlets
Identify and assist with sustainability initiatives within the product lifecycle
Develop Excel templates to analyze business and develop strategic decisions
Coach, train and develop team to ensure goals are achieved
Foster job satisfaction and positive morale for direct reports
Perform systems and process training as needed
Job Qualifications Include:
Bachelor's degree required
10+ years of experience in planning, finance experience is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Suite (V-Lookups, X-Lookups, Pivot Tables, and Macro strongly preferred)
Ability to build user friendly spreadsheets for efficiency
Experience with Anaplan and Cegid preferred
Experience working in medium sized multinational company or luxury business preferred
Additional language fluency is a plus
Ability to adhere to company policy and confidentiality
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to grasp new concepts quickly, prioritize efficiently, and is organized
Strong follow up, follow through and attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met
Strong knowledge of computer systems/programs
Salary: Up to $165k annually depending on experience + bonus
