Understand the companies business and the specific needs of the company?s departments. Translate those needs into an overall financial reporting strategy, supported by effective implementation of organization-wide review and collaboration.
Regularly engage the companies business leaders to understand and meet their financial reporting needs. Enhance the FP&A and accounting structure and processes so that leaders can easily understand, adhere to, and communicate to their staff as necessary.
Prepare & review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as required by internal managers & external stakeholders as required.
Participate in underwriting for capital expenditures and/or investment transactions.
Assist executive management in the preparation of informational reports for quarterly Board of Directors Meetings, as well as special projects and research as required.
Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Financial Analyst Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting/Finance.
5+ years of relevant work experience, including demonstrated progressive career growth in Accounting/Financial roles.
Prior responsibilities should include FP&A and/or other financial reporting or due diligence related engagements as well as a record of strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build and work collaboratively in a strong team concept environment.
Must have good written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel with at least an intermediate knowledge of both Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
