Job Description:

Headquartered in Michigan, our client is engaged in engineering & construction in the U.S. telecoms services market. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be managing all financial requirements and activities of the company. Position will report to the CEO & functionally to the Group CFO based in Europe.

Key Functions/Responsibilities
• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, providing financial insights and participating in the development of the company's strategic vision and long-term value.
• Ensure Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), preparing annual budgets, forecasts, financial models and reinforcing existing processes and mechanisms for regular reporting
• Ensure financial reporting and compliance, overseeing accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, in compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
• Ensure key disciplines and evaluate efficiencies on cash flow (amongst other tasks managing payables, receivables etc.) and capital expenditure
• Manage external audits and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, as well as effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Manage the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, in strict coordination with CV.
• Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures, assessing and mitigating risks, according to CV's guidelines.
• Evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities based on their potential impact on company's financial performance.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure a motivated team and that departmental goals are met.

Key Requirements/Competencies:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Solid financial background regarding financial principles, accounting and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure industry and market specificities, is preferred.
• Strategic thinking, aligning financial goals with business challenges and opportunities.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ethical conduct, upholding the highest standards of integrity, ethics and corporate governance.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ready to be based in Southern Michigan, around the Detroit area.
