OneSearch Group has partnered up with a Florida-based banking leader in the search for a Vice President of Corporate Banking. The VP will be responsible for deal sourcing, origination, structuring and deal presentation for leveraged finance, acquisition finance and middle market transactions in the syndicated loan market.
Functions:
Maintain continuous contact with key syndication banks in Corporate and Investment Banking space, primarily those specializing in leveraged finance, M&A finance and structured finance facilities for the purpose of sourcing new financing opportunities.
Establish and expand the Bank's relationship with investment banks, private equity firms and key financial sponsors across a wide variety of industries.
Prepare investment approval memorandums for presentation to applicable approval authority committee.
Originate and execute transactions by evaluating and reviewing loan information, including but not limited to financial projections, risk mitigation, financial models, lender presentations/decks, public filings, datarooms, diligence reports, and other related loan information and supporting documentation.
Pro-actively anticipate questions/topics that credit committee members will likely focus on, sufficiently address those topics and include in the credit documents, and be prepared and ready to address/discuss those points at committee if needed.
Assist the Corporate Banking group regarding loan policies and procedures, quality control, loan review and credit underwriting.
Assist in monitoring the financial performance of the portfolio, completing waivers and amendments, assisting with quarterly and other reporting.
