The Analyst will be responsible for evaluating historical and current financial data to understand the company's financial condition. They will study industry-specific business trends and research data and write data-backed reports to support the management team in taking strategic business decisions. They will develop financial models that forecast business outcomes and profits, measuring financial risk associated with investment decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze historical and current financial data to understand the company's financial status
Evaluate capital expenditures and depreciation
Develop predictive financial models to support organizational decision making
Analyze processes to identify gaps that can improve profit margins
Establish benchmarks for financial processes
Track current financial data to alert stakeholders in case of deviation
Consolidate Division financial Data and facilitate SEC reporting and Management Reporting
Study industry-specific research and available data to predict trends
Create written reports that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals
Develop forecasting tools to automate financial data analysis
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in finance, economics, or statistics
5+ years of proven experience working as a financial analyst
Working knowledge of MS D365 is a huge plus (but not necessary as long as there is previous ERP experience
Demonstrated proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications,
Excellent reporting, presenting and communication skills
Deep understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Ability to work with large datasets
Strategic thinking and organizational skills
Proven analytical and financial modeling skills
OneStream experience a plus
Expertise in Excel (understanding and knowledge of how to use full Excel functionality)
