Position Summary
The Inventory Control Supervisor is required to work with all fulfillment clients to ensure that all inventory is received, stored and properly allocated in Mercury for fulfillment operations. The Supervisor will also oversee the monthly cycle counts, replenishment and reporting to the clients on backorders and inventory discrepancies.
Job Description
Core responsibilities will include the following areas:
Provide training and support to team members on how to put inventory away utilizing Warehouse Management System
Receive purchase orders into inventory, report discrepancies, maintain appropriate documentation, and prepare product for induction to fulfillment.
Maintain daily replenishment log; ensure items allocated to fulfillment are prepared and transferred.
Work with the Leadership team to identify priority shipments to expedite the replenishment/restocking of inventory
Communicate with applicable clients (addressing backorders/skipped orders/promos, etc.)
Coordinate Year End inventory counts for applicable clients
Coordinate and administer all Cycle counts for all applicable clients
Investigate and respond timely to client emails pertaining to inventory counts and receiving
Verify Mercury inventory against physical count of stock; preform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, perform adjustments, and report reasons for variance.
Co-ordinate inventory designated for destruction; transfer of product, prepare inventory reports for Manager and Client.
Isolate and prioritize receiving of stock shipments according to service level agreements (SLA's), backordered items and promised ship dates
Ensure all documentation submitted to clients and third parties (when required) is complete and accurate for auditing purposes
Effectively communicate to team members for high priority stock shipments
Create/delete forward & reserve locations for clients as new skus are created
Track Sku Movement and adjust locations for fulfillment pick line
Reconcile and report discrepancies to the client
Ensure safety and security policies are being adhered to by all team members
Track attendance and communicate absences to the Manager
Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications include:
3-5 years' experience in Warehouse/Distribution Center
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Previous experience with inbound receiving
Familiarity with Inventory Management Systems (Mercury)
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills, extremely detailed and accurate
Demonstrated excellent attendance and punctuality
Physical requirements - standing for extended periods of time/lifting/repetitive tasks

Position Pay Range
$22.00 to $27.00 per hour based on experience and other factors
