This leading Renewable Energy firm is looking for a python focused software development engineer to help create applications for a specific trading team within the firm. This firm focuses on Wind, Solar, and more from a project perspective. Responsibilities:
Software engineering experience focusing on analysis, design, development, testing and more
Evaluate current technology and optimize when the chance is given
Create re-usable, well tested code
Expertise leveraging REST APIs as well as microservice architecture
Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD
Fintech, Commodities, and Risk Management experience is a plus
cross functional team collaboration
Cloud certifications are a plus
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of python development experience
experience writing PL-SQL queries
Experience with unit and regression test cases in python
Dynamic ability to communicate with technical and noon technical stakeholders
Exposure to multi-threaded programming or memory management
