Senior Product Manager / Director - Treasury and Payment Networks

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager / Director specializing in Payment Networks with a focus on treasury-related workstreams. This role is critical in developing and enhancing our payment network infrastructure to support FX management, operations, and centralized settlement processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate treasury functions seamlessly into our payment network, ensuring efficient and compliant currency exchange and settlement processes.

Responsibilities:
  1. FX Management Integration:
  • Collaborate with treasury teams to understand FX management requirements and integrate FX capabilities into our payment network.
  • Define product requirements for FX rate sourcing, calculation, and application within payment transactions.
  • Partner with engineering teams to develop and implement FX management features and functionalities.

  1. FX Operations Enhancement:
  • Streamline FX operations within the payment network to ensure timely and accurate execution of currency conversions.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor FX performance, mitigate risks, and optimize FX-related workflows.
  • Implement improvements to enhance transparency and efficiency in FX operations.

  1. Money Movement Workflows Optimization:
  • Optimize money movement workflows to facilitate fast and secure transfer of funds.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in money movement processes and implement solutions for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  1. Centralized Settlement Process Enhancements:
  • Evaluate existing settlement processes and identify opportunities for centralization and automation.
  • Define product requirements for centralized settlement solutions, including real-time settlement capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement enhancements to centralized settlement processes.

  1. Market Research and Analysis:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape related to FX management, money movement, and settlement processes.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and risks in treasury-related workstreams.
  • Use insights to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with treasury, operations, engineering, and compliance teams to define product strategies and priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize and implement treasury-related features and enhancements.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of payment processing methods, including card networks, ACH, checks, virtual cards, digital wallets, and international payments.
  • Experience: 7+ years of product management experience in the payments industry, focusing on treasury operations and settlement processes.
  • FX Management: Deep understanding of FX management principles, including FX rate calculation, hedging strategies, and risk management.
  • Workflow Optimization: Experience designing and optimizing money movement workflows within a payment network environment.
  • Settlement Processes: Familiarity with centralized settlement processes and real-time settlement capabilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data and derive actionable insights.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing treasury operations, FX management, and settlement processes.

Education:
  • Required: BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
  • Preferred: MS in Computer Science or MBA.
