A leading Global Financial Services Platform is seeking a Senior Vice President, Employment Counsel to join its Legal team in their Greenwich, CT or NYC office. This role will provide the opportunity to work on a variety of HR-related initiatives on a global level.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the General Counsel and Chief Human Resources Officer on various employee relation matters.
Support Human Resources with various matters including internal policy compliance, disciplinary and performance initiatives, and hiring processes.
Manage internal claims and negotiate a variety of HR-related agreements while supervising outside counsel.
Required Skills:
J.D., Bar membership and 6-8 years of experience with benefits and compensation, HR-related functions, and employment litigation.
Experience drafting and negotiating offer letters, separation agreements and other HR-related contracts.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with executive presence and work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
