A great opportunity with a growing company to join the Investment Department in the management of the company's investment portfolios. Our investment assets have doubled the past two years. We have plans for similar growth over the next few years. Sagicor is looking for a talented analyst to join our expanding department, learn the insurance investment management business and contribute to the management of our investment assets.
The Investment Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance and reporting of investment data used to make portfolio and business decisions. Support the department members with daily cash management, trading assistance, investment reporting and other project assignments. Respond to the varying internal and external investment reporting needs.
Duties/Responsibilities
Combine and maintain analytics from various sources (investment accounting, CMS Bond Edge, Bloomberg) into monthly and quarterly database from which all portfolio management, board and investment reporting is derived.
Build and maintain investment portfolio reports used in the company investment process.
Run bond modeling systems.
Support and work with the Investment department members in the management of the company's investment portfolios.

Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or accounting. Strong academic credentials and achievement.
Interested in pursuing the CFA designation. Progress toward or attainment of the CFA is a plus.
Experience in the development and construction of formula driven spreadsheets.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Prior experience in investments, especially fixed-income, is helpful.
Must have ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Desire to grow professional skill set. Person should have strong attention to detail and be pro-active.
