Our client, a food & beverage manufacturing company located in the north suburb of Chicago, is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team! This person will be an integral part of the Finance team, assisting with core accounting and reporting processes. The team is on a hybrid schedule with 2 remote days per week.
This job in a nutshell:
Assist in the month end close and year end close process and associated reporting
Perform Intercompany billings, transactions and reconciliations
Participate in the administration of risk management
Perform the monthly Cash Flow Forecasting for the entity
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that they are clearly documented and recorded
Assist with the company's External and Internal Audit process
We are looking for (key requirements/preferences):
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
Knowledge of basic accounting principles (AP/AR, GL)
