This position is related to Alternative Products, such as hedge funds, private equity, real estate, and other alternative investment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide active support to Wealth Management and Retail desks with trade-related processes. Liaison with IT to resolve system issues.
Monitoring subscriptions, redemptions, commitments and transfer orders in Alternative Funds.
Coordinating with external counterparties such as fund administrators (RTAs), custodians, and prime brokers to ensure smooth transaction processing.
Developing and maintaining operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Participating in special projects related to operational process improvements or new product launches.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
3+ years working in Operations at an investment bank or financial firm.
Excellent communication skills in English, both in speaking and writing.
Project management experience and ability to collaborate across functions (Operations, Trading, IT, Legal, and Compliance).
Strong initiative, analytical ability, and problem solving skills.
Highly organized, flexibility, and able to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
Proficiency with Excel
Proficiency with PowerPoint, ability to design advanced charts.
Spanish and Portuguese language skills a plus.
Series 99 or the ability to pass the exam within a short period of time.
